Freeway at Dawn
Serpentine chain of diamond lights
Each link a coffin of metal and glass
on a road to nowhere,
leaving at dawn
returning at dusk,
futile struggle
silent screams.

I will have to admit that I liked the first one better. This one was somewhat morose. It left me feeling sad and without hope. Perhaps it was a bad day for you? Johneen
